Basic Job Postings are limited to 575 characters or about 100 words (The posting length will be policed manually by Western City staff after the posting is submitted - please stay within the 100 word allotment or your ad will not be approved).

Job Opportunity Guidelines and Tips

All job opportunity postings and updates are reviewed by our staff before going “live.” Please allow 48-hours for postings and updates to take effect.

Each ad will automatically be removed after 30-days unless the ad is renewed by the poster.

Ads cancelled before 30-days will be billed at the full rate.

Take advantage of the opportunity to attract the most qualified applicant in your agency’s recruitment effort. The following kinds of information are standard in Western City job opportunity advertisements:

  • Position title
  • Public agency name and state
  • Salary and benefit information
  •  Description of qualifications sought (number of years and type of experience, educational levels, size of relevant staff, etc.) and/or types of duties position involves
  • How to apply (for example, send resume, current salary and three work-related references) or how to obtain application materials
  • Address, telephone and facsimile numbers of the department to which materials should be sent and from which further information may be obtained
