The City of Irvine seeks a seasoned professional to serve as City Clerk. The City Clerk is responsible for the planning, organization, and direction of City Clerk activities and functions, including legislative proceedings, preparing agendas and recording actions of City Council meetings and other meetings; administering the City-wide records management program; serving as the filing official for regulatory filings required under the Political Reform Act; and overseeing the processing of claims, summonses and subpoenas; elections administration.

Salary Range: $104,707.20 - $163,134.40 Annually
Benefits: Incentive Compensation
Eligible for additional compensation in the amount of 3% of base salary.
$300.00 towards monthly car allowance and $100.00 towards monthly cellular phone.
The City offers the CalPERS 2% at 62 formula for new CalPERS members.; OR 2% at 55 formula for existing CalPERS members with less than a six-month break in service from another CalPERS or CalPERS reciprocal agency. The City currently offers medical, dental, and psychological insurance coverage for employees and their dependents. In addition, the City provides life insurance, a fully paid vision plan, and a disability plan for employees.
120 to 200 hours of annual vacation accrual, depending on years of service; 11 paid holidays per year; 96 hours of sick leave per year; 40 hours of Administrative Leave per year; and 71 hours of annual personal leave. The City currently operates on a 36/44 hour work week schedule, with City Hall closed on alternate Fridays.
