Fullerton’s Community Development Department is currently supported by a staff of 27 and is organized across five divisions – Planning & Development Services, Building & Safety, Housing & Neighborhood Services, Code Enforcement, and Administration.

The City is seeking a strong leader with experience implementing best practices in contemporary planning. The ideal candidate will be a visionary planning professional with outstanding communication skills who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. At least 8 years of community development experience, including a minimum of 3 years of serving in a managerial capacity, and a Bachelor’s degree are required. A graduate degree and/or AICP certification are strongly preferred.
