Deputy City Clerk
The City of Torrance is seeking a Deputy City Clerk to supervise daily operations of the City Clerk’s Office, staff responsible for maintaining official City records, conducting elections, and providing information to the public.
Minimum 4 years administrative experience in a public agency, including at least 1 year supervisory or management experience. Supervisory experience in a City Clerk’s Office, Bachelor’s degree, and designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) desirable.

Salary Range: $6,447 - $9,267 monthly, plus excellent benefits.
Benefits: Retirement – Employees receive retirement benefits through the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS). Employees hired after January 1, 2013, that are new to CalPERS, or are returning members with a break in service greater than six months, will be enrolled in the formula 2% @ 62 retirement plan which is funded through contribution from both employer and employee.
