Under the administrative direction of the General Manager, the Director of Finance and Administration plans, organizes and directs the functions of human resources, finance, accounting services, budget and financial planning, and information technology services. The Director of Finance and Administration acts as the Deputy District Treasurer and as a principal advisor to the General Manager, Board of Directors, and other department heads regarding general management functions.
The ideal candidate will possess seven or more years of increasingly responsible experience in governmental financial planning and administration at a managerial level coupled with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, public administration or a related field.
