Located in Southern California in the Riverside-San Bernardino metropolitan area. It serves as the County Seat of San Bernardino County, California. The Director will be a significant partner in coming out of bankruptcy along with both the Deputy City Manager and City Manager. Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in finance, accounting, business administration or closely related field; at least ten years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience; at least five years of which were in management capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant or an MBA is desirable. Valid California driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.
