The Town of Mammoth Lakes is seeking a Director of Public Works to plan, direct, manage, and oversee assigned activities and operations including: Public Works (streets, parks, and fleet), Engineering, Capital Projects, Airport, Transit, serve as Town Engineer, and coordinate required functions with other Town departments and outside agencies.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required. Eight years of experience in Public Works with 5 years govt experience, and 3 years of supervisory experience. Must be a California registered Professional Engineer (PE) or obtain a California PE within 18 months of hire.
