This position is a key member of the City Manager’s Leadership Team that is responsible for developing strategies to meet citywide policies, goals, objectives and priorities. The Public Works Director will provide the high level of expertise needed to successfully implement the vision for the Public Works Department. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, decisive and innovative leader with superb interpersonal skills, judgment and integrity. A Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in the field of civil engineering, public works or a closely related field is required. A Master’s degree is desirable.
